We will step you through the shipping and handling process of your TruLog Siding Order. Take a look at the video below to see how your siding and trim is packaged:
All TruLog orders will be shipped via Hot Shot, this is an independent driver with a pickup truck and flatbed trailer who makes stops according to a specified route.
These Hot Shots DO NOT have a way to unload the pallet from the flatbed trailer, you will need to have equipment onsite to do so or we design the pallets so you can cut the bands and take the boxes off, they are about 100 lbs each.
Almost all of the flatbed trailers will be 3 ft tall and you can access the pallet from the side, see photo below:
These Hot Shots will strap each pallet to the trailer and will be tarped to protect everything from the weather:
Your order will be numbered according to the stop made by the driver so if you are the first stop, there will be a #1 on each of your pallets that need to be offloaded. They are also color matched to each other so you know they are yours. Please make sure you are offloading your order and your order only:
