Oktoberfest Denver (18th and 19th and 25th and 26th September)
Oktoberfest started in Munich in Germany and is now a worldwide phenomenon – and there’s one here in Denver too!
German beer is big at this Oktoberfest (like any others), but you can also enjoy games, live music, and food booths. Families are welcome!
Applefest (October 1st to 3rd)
This festival is all about apples. Located in Cedaredge, the festival has over 150 apple vendors who all sell different types of apples. There are also tractor rides at Applefest, amongst other activities.
Telluride Horror Festival (October 15th to 17th)
This is a popular sci-fi film festival with a decidedly spooky atmosphere. Telluride is a great festival to attend if you want to get in the eerie atmosphere early!
