Building or remodeling is a big decision, and we want you to feel confident every step of the way. Here are some of the most common questions homeowners ask about TruLogĀ® steel siding.
TruLogĀ® siding is made from heavy-duty steel with a baked-on finish. With proper installation, it can last 40+ years without rotting, warping, or fading like wood or vinyl.
There are many options to choose from in the log siding industry including steel log siding, real wood log siding, concrete log siding, and vinyl log siding.
Steel log sidingĀ from TruLog⢠has no maintenance! You donāt have to paint, stain, or seal our steel log panel like other log siding materials. You can just wash it off with a garden hose!Ā Wood log sidingĀ will require you to stain or paint and seal it every 2-3 years.Ā Concrete log sidingĀ will need to be sealed every 1-2 years.Ā Vinyl log sidingĀ doesnāt require regular maintenance, but is much more prone to fade and chalk and the panels must be replaced rather than repainted.
To get the most accurate material estimate, we will need the measurement of your home including: the length and width of your home, the wall height, the pitch of your roof, and the dimensions of your doors and windows. Learn more aboutĀ how to measureĀ for TruLog⢠siding, andĀ contact usĀ for an estimate when youāre ready.
TruLog siding is made from high-quality, heavy-gauge steel with a durable, baked-on finish. Itās designed to look like real wood logs or wood grain siding while providing superior strength, weather resistance, and zero maintenance.
